    Sharing the Love of Christ.

It's the story of the Good Samaritan.
Helping those who are unable to help themselves.

Namaste [Greetings] from India! There have been so many exciting events this year at The Good Samaritan Schools in New Delhi, India! The springtime was a busy season for the students and staff of The Good Samaritan Schools in New Delhi. In March the students gathered for the annual awards ceremony where many were honored for leadership skills and outstanding performance in the classroom. On March 29 the administration organized Prayer Day, a day dedicated to praying over the staff, children and sponsors of the school. Upon her return from a three-week trip to the United States, Dr. Ananthi Jebasingh, director of the school, shared her experiences traveling at a Thanksgiving and Dedication ceremony March 31.

Students embarked upon the exploration of outer space during a special overnight program held at the school in April. About 50 boys gazed at the stars on the rooftop of the school while teachers explained the location of constellations in the sky. The next day the students tended the gardens on the roof, learning about irrigation and agriculture with hands-on experience.

150 new students were enrolled this year with the commencement of our 10th grade in April! We have been blessed by the presence of visitors from the U.S. this year who have spent time teaching and playing with the children. Many have also completed service projects and visited the slums to pray with the community.

pray joyGod continues to bless these children through the faithfulness of friends like you. Thank you for supporting this mission as we continue our efforts to bless these children with education and hope for a better life.
